Amazing Fly Fishing Experience in Bovec
I had an unforgettable time at the Soca River! Domen, my guide, was incredibly experienced and welcoming, making the course enjoyable from start to finish. What set this experience apart was how it went beyond just learning technique; it was about connecting with nature and appreciating the harmony between angler, fish, and environment.

I went fishing with Domen, although I dont catch many fish many times, but with his knowledge of the river and many years of experience as a fisherman, he led me to catch a beautifull rainbow trout. He taught me a new techniqe called Euro Ninfing on the fly, thanks to the aformentioned catching technique I caught a fish. We were fishing in a great place near the BOKA Hotel, where we had a drink at the the and of the day. I had a great day with a great guy. I really racomend.

A real fly fishing paradise; Slovenia. Spent a day fishing in the Soča Valley with my guide @gusti_fly. First fish was a nice Grayling, my first Grayling and a few minutes later a huge marble trout rise and took my indicator!
Domen was a great guide, when the temp was too hot to fish, we went on a small adventure around the WW1 Isonzo Front (Soška fronta). He took time to explain to me the history around the place, perfect for war enthusiast.
On the fishing side, Mr. Gusti is a real fly fisherman and knows a lot. I learned many things during this day and was able to see many of my flaws. He knows the river well and knows where and how to catch fish.
I caught my first trout nymphing with his help and can’t wait to try it at home in my dark rivers.
